External item descriptions
Tired of having to memorize everything that every single item in the game does every time? Tired of coming across new items and trying to decide whether you're about to gain an actual boon or arm yourself with a dud off of sheer looks? Then it's time you had some help. With this mod, every item and trinket in the game up to Afterbirth+ gets an external description to let you know what you're in for when you're about to pick it up.
Better Character Menu
Here's a nifty little visual mod to both clarify and vary the look of things in the character selection screen. With this mod, character art is replaced with their in-game sprite and the names are colored to add a little more variety. Not only does it help distinguish each character from one another, but this mod looks good doing it as well.
Mei
Mei may be a tiny little ghost, but she packs a lot of punch. This mod introduces Mei as a selectable character. Instead of firing tears, Mei has three tears that warp around her in a circle. At will, she can launch these tears outwards to attack enemies. The three tears can be powered by collectible weapons and upgraded further to make Mei a veritable area-of-effect powerhouse of a character.
Fogless!
With the upgrade to the Afterbirth version of Binding of Isaac, some areas began to feature new foggy filters that are supposed to add atmosphere to the overall effect of the game. However, if you simply find these things annoying, there's an easy option: Turn it off! This mod lifts the fog to make the levels look a lot cleaner and clearer in their details.
Color Stat HUD Icons
Just a little something to light up your dreary Binding of Isaac world. This mod takes those various stats on the side of the screen and fills them in with a dash of color. Not only does it make it a little easier to see what they are and what they do, but it adds a little visual flair of charm to the game's UI.
"?" Marked Tinted Rocks
Tired of playing guessing games with special and super special rocks? No problem. This mod takes the guesswork out of the matter and makes it easy to spot these hidden treasures. Now they'll be marked and tinted slightly different to make them easier to spot throughout the entire game.
Chargebars for Brimstone & Co
Find yourself a little off on the timing of your favorite charged weapons and need a way to know exactly when the time is right to fire? Then check out this mod. It brings new charge bar graphics to the game that will tell you exactly when a weapon that needs charging is ready to fire. Take the guess work out and maximize your firing speed and efficiency with this handy visual tool.
Siren, Playable Character
Get ready to take on the cutie little stature of the sultry songstress known as Siren! Siren's main weapon is charms. She can charm enemies or, if they are already charmed, turn them into followers like that effect of the Friendly Ball. Her tears may charm based on her luck stat, which will increase when she kills enemies. Turn the hoard of foes into your loyal servants on your march through the Basement.
Angels Drop Items
If it's always annoyed you to get absolutely nothing for the effort it takes to kill Gabriel and Uriel, then this mod is a must-have. With it, the two mentioned angels get specific item drop pools that you can collect after defeating them. Make sure that your hard work doesn't go unrewarded by these tough divine dirtbags!
Items In Spawn
Looking to get a headstart on your latest run in Binding of Isaac? How about if you could load up with your pick of a huge stockpile of items right from the get-go? This mod spawns 30 random items in the starting room, allowing you to load up before you go off on your merry way to survive.
The Polling Of Isaac †
Now this is a feature built for the streamers out there. This mod introduces a new set-up into the game which makes nearly every item room contain four items instead of one. The idea is that during stream, you'll poll your viewers and pick which of the four comes out on top no matter what it is. Though, even if you don't feel like doing that, you'll still have your pick of four new items in every applicable room you make it to which is pretty convenient as well.
