After Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2’s Update 12 arrived and finally introduced the Techmarine class following many teases, we’ve started paying attention to Update 13’s release date and content.

Space Marine 2 Patch 13.0 Release Date
- Patch 13.0 for Space Marine 2 will release at some point in Q2 2026 across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Q1 2026 has now ended, and according to April 30’s massive Community Update, we should still expect Patch 13 to arrive a bit later than originally planned. It seems the long wait will pay off though.
Space Marine 2 Patch 13.0 Content
According to Space Marine 2’s updated Year 2 roadmap as shared at the end of April 2026 (see above), Patch 13 is on the bigger side following many tweaks and changes.
While we recommend checking out April’s Community Update for a full list and description of everything that’s coming with Update 13, here’s the rundown on what’s currently set to arrive to the game next:
- New PvE mission on Kadaku (vs. Chaos)
- Siege Mode rework (new items, new modifiers, Hive Tyrant and Vortex Beast bosses, harder enemies when the timer’s over)
- New secondary weapon (Bolt Carbine Sidearm for Bulwark and Assault)
- 3 heroic weapons (Plasma Pistol, Chainsword & Power Axe variants)
- 6 heroic cosmetics (more armour parts)
- New equipment (3 perks loadouts)
- New ordeals (‘Trials of Resolve’)
- Practice arena (Battle Barge addition for solo weapon testing)
- Wargear update #1 (shareable across classes with some restrictions)
- Iron Hands Chapter Pack (for Season Pass 2 owners)
Additional highlights from the updated roadmap include the following for Q3 2026’s Patch 14:
- Two new PvP arenas
- New Terminus enemy (delayed from Update 13)
- 6 more heroic weapons
- New heroic cosmetics
- Wargear update #2
Moreover, “Space Marine 2’s live support has officially been extended into a third year, bringing even more free updates and DLC content.” The postponed content will be rolled over into the Year 3 plans.
