Never faltering on the idea of the Square Enix Collective, the publishing giant is ready and willing to support another start-up. This time with UnDungeon - a mix-up of the ARPG and Rougelike genres.
Likely injecting some of their own money - or at least handling publishing - Square Enix are pointing its newsletter subscribers to Laughing Machines' pixel-art bloodbath.
Already approved for publishing by the Square Enix Collective - think Steam Greenlight - UnDungeon needs to jump over to KickStarter to gather up the cash required to finish up the work. With just a little over a month to go, the Dusseldorf development studio has already managed to entice over 700 backers with 13,000 of its 50,000 goal already reached.

In a classic 'All or nothing' situation, UnDungeon has 32 days to conjure up the rest of the cash from hopeful early purchases. With the game scheduled to release 12 months from now, throwing 10 their way nets you a copy at launch. Telling the story of a rift between the parallel worlds causing seven of these very different dimensions to intertwine agianst their will.
The Kickstarter page already plays host to numerous pieces of gorgeous pixel-art both still and animted. There's still plenty of time to get a pledge in, but a few of the bigger rewards are limited in quantity.
