Ubisoft have shown off four photos from the new Assassin’s Creed film; they’ve also announced the first trailer will be revealed tomorrow.
Announced back in 2011, the Assassin’s Creed film has been in production for quite a while now. In the five years of production, we still have not seen a good video game adaptation. There is a chance this Assassin’s Creed film could be one of the first good adaptations, and judging by the photos we can be reassured that the film at least looks nice.
Assassin’s Creed is being directed by Justin Kurzel (the director of Macbeth). The lead roles are being played by Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth respectively in Kurzel’s Macbeth. The Assassin’s Creed movie is scheduled for release in cinemas on December 21st.
