Now it’s not just the color scheme–Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has gone gold, meaning that the game is ready for release and discs are being pressed. The game, originally scheduled for release this past February, got a lengthy delay to its current release date later this month, but now there’s no longer any doubt that we’ll be playing it very soon.
Mankind Divided is the follow-up to Human Revolution, which despite a few missteps, was a worthwhile rebirth of the role-playing classic. Mankind Divided takes place two years after the events of the previous game, and once again casts you in the role of Adam Jensen amid tensions between normal humans and their technologically augmented counterparts.

The game’s official Tumblr posted the news, along with a lovely photo of the development team celebrating the completion of their efforts. Enjoy the rest, guys. Crunch time is over. (At least, I think this is when crunch ends. Who knows? Maybe they’ll still be working 80-hour weeks on DLC and a day one patch.)
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be available on August 23.
