Battlefield Hardline’s multiplayer, for better or worse, has basically been shaped by community input, so it’s no surprise to see Visceral reaching out to the fans post-launch. It’s taken them a while, but the development team is ready to start putting the finishing touches on the shooter’s first major patch. They’ve listed five major fixes identified via player feedback, which will form the core of the upcoming patch.
Hardline actually had a pretty stable launch, certainly compared to the honking shambles that was Battlefield 4’s, but there’s always room for improvement. Team Deathmatch spawns are currently a bit of a jumbled mess – the old die,spawn, die, spawn issue crops up - so I’m glad to hear that’s one area that Visceral is focusing on.
I’m not enough of a hardcore player to pay attention to weapon balance, but that’s being looked at too. Conquest tickets are being increased in both the Large and Small versions of the mode, which will make for longer games. You can read a full list of patch notes over on the Battlelog forums, but here’s the list of the major changes;

Punkbuster fixes – We’re addressing some of the heavy CPU usage seen by players
Nvidia DirectX driver fixes – We’re working with our partners at Nvidia to create new drivers to prevent the most common crash issues
Extended Conquest time – We’ve extended the length of Conquest matches by increasing the number of tickets on both Large and Small
Fixed TDM spawns – We’ve adjusted spawn points and the spawn system for better TDM spawning
Multiple weapon balance tweaks – We’ve addressed some common complaints with the weapon balance, there will be more coming soon

There’s no date set for the patch yet, but Visceral says it’s coming very soon.
