Obsidian Entertainment and My.com have announced that multiplayer tank combat game Armored Warfare is starting its second Early Access Test, kicking off today and running through to June 24.
Players twill be able to continue their progress from, a similar test last month, and for the next two weeks they’ll be able to try their hand at the new ‘Roughneck’ map, set in the plains of Russia.
”We’re proud to introduce the latest map in Armored Warfare, the Roughneck,” writes Obsidian. ”Welcome to the plains of Russia where players will attempt to seize the strategically important refinery and pumping station in order to deny the resources from their enemy. This map offers open terrain as well as plenty of cover in the refinery area and each tank class can find the spots where it can do most damage.”
The second test will include Tier 7 vehicles for the first time, available from in-game vendors. They’ll also find improved performance on lower-end systems, various changes to weapon and vehicle balance, and a range of other tweaks and fixes that you can read about in the patch notes here.
You can sign up for the game’s Early Access programme over on the official website. While the second test is running, severs will periodically be down for maintenance and testing. You can check out the scheduled play times below.
