inXile Entertainment’s Brian Fargo took to the stage at the London Comic Con last weekend to present the opening cinematic for the team’s Kickstarter-funded RPG Wasteland 2.
Not often that a game starts off with a live-action cutscene these days, but this one does a nice job of setting the scene for the post-apocalyptic adventure.
You can watch Fargo’s full presentation over at Twitch.tv here. There’s some talk about the game’s development , and another look at it in action.
If you’re itching to get your hands on the final version of inXile’s title then you’ve got a little while longer to wait yet, as the developer confirmed last week that the game would release on PC at the end of August. The Early Access version is of course still available over Steam.
