Upper One Games’ Never Alone, an atmospheric puzzler, tells the story of an Inupiaq girl named Nuna and her arctic fox. It’s based off Alaskan indigenous stories across eight chapters.
Today at EGX E-Line Media’s Alan Gershenfeld and Gloria O’Neill of the Cook Inlet Tribal Council are talking about the ”inclusive development” of Never Alone, and what game can do for culture.
Sharing and even celebrating these world cultures is possible through the medium of games, and they believe Never Alone can serve as a model for that when it releases this November.
