The end of 2014 is due two Assassin’s Creed titles from Ubisoft, with Unity being their next-gen blockbuster for PC, Xbox One and PS4. However there’s a last-gen adventure too.
Assassin’s Creed: Rogue is currently in development for just Xbox 360 and PS3, but now Ubisoft say there’s been ”a lot of response requesting” it come to PC as well, so they’ll ‘look into it’.
Much like many of the other Assassin’s Creed titles in the series it’s a concerted effort between many studios, but Ubisoft Sofia is leading development with Rogue.
”The game is being developed for 360 and PS3,” associate producer Karl Von Der Luhe said. ”We’ve heard a lot of response requesting a PC version so we’ll be looking into that very soon.” There’s even been talk of a possible port to Xbox One and PS4, especially given their similarity with the PC this generation. PlayStation Vita’s Liberation eventually came to PC in a HD remastering. Artic naval combat awaits in Assassin’s Creed: Rogue this November 11th.
