I can appreciate a good title, and Bossa Studios’ Deep Dungeons of Doom has one of the best I’ve seen this year. So well done for that, guys. The retro rogue-like dungeon crawler is now available on Steam.
Taking control of either the Crusader, the Witch or the Mercenary, you’ll venture underground to battle a variety of unpleasant monsters.
It’s a lovingly designed nod to classic 8-bit action adventure games, with pixel visuals from the artists behind Rogue Legacy and Towerfall. Released last year as a free-to-play mobile title, Deep Dungeons of Doom was generally well-received, despite concerns about the presence of micro-transactions - that all seems to be cut out of the PC version, thankfully. You get the whole thing for £3.99.
It’s available on Steam right now. You can also grab the retro soundtrack for £1.99 on Bandcamp.
