Respawn has officially announced the next DLC map pack for Titanfall - Frontier’s Edge. Like previous map pack Expedition, the new content will take us to three new exotic locations including two different types of mining outpost!
Those three new maps are described as follows; ”the isolated mining outpost of Dig Site, the exclusive beach resort of Haven and the mining hub on the side of a mountain known as Export.”
I simply can’t wait to find out the difference between a ‘mining hub’ and a ‘mining outpost’. Frontier’s Edge is the second of three planned content packs, all available as part of the Titanfall season pass. Expedition actually added some nice (if rather expensive) new levels that felt quite impressively different compared to the core selection, so hopefully this next pack will continue that trend.
As always, each map pack can be purchased individually for £7.99, or as part of the season pass for £19.99. No word on a potential release date as yet, though Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella hinted that September would be a likely date at E3 last month.
