Silicon Studio has released a tech demo for their new rendering engine. The studio developed 2012’s Bravely Default: Flying Fairy for Nintendo 3DS, but have worked on Xbox 360 and PS3 before.
Their new fancy engine tech looks set for next-gen hardware, and hopefully PC too. No game is featured in the tech footage, but is instead a brief sequence of incredible fidelity.
The video is of a robot messing around with an old camera in a futuristic factory by the looks of things. Xbox One and PS4 look to be in Silicon’s future, and hopefully desktops.
All footage is real-time in-engine and easily rivals the best CGI technology.
