You can channel your inner Wesker in Capcom’s ‘Raccoon City Contagion Campaign’ in order to unlock free bonus content in the upcoming Resident Evil HD edition.
Once Raccoon City (the holiday destination of choice for fans of undead monstrosities and dodgy voice-acting) is completely infected, players will receive a personalised Medical Report and “a surprise” in the main game.
No idea what that surprise will be. A new weapon? New outfit? There’s always the chance it will be something completely useless but that’s the exciting risk you’ll be taking! To enter you’ll need to either set up a Capcom account or register through your Facebook or email.
Once you’ve done so the Infection Meter will rise - it’s currently at 32% as of this post - until it hits 100%. Only then will the bonus content will be unlocked. Resident Evil HD Remastered is due out in early 2015 for PC and consoles.
