Techland’s upcoming zombie parkour game Dying Light has a new trailer, released in preparation for its appearance at E3 2014 this month.
As well as the zombie-splatting action (of which there is a lot) there’s some conversation, Far Cry 3-style, about the nature of murder with a bearded man who seems to be your employer.
In terms of the action, there’s lots of roof-running and zombie-kicking, and what looks like a grappling hook device that can be used to hop from the street to the roofs in one move. As in the Dead Rising series, Dying Light’s undead seem to get faster and stronger at night. ”You don’t wanna get caught out there after the sun goes down,” as one of the characters in the trailer says.
Dying Light is coming February 2015 for PC and consoles. Expect more on the game at E3 this June 10-12.
