The gimmick is you get to keep something that’s been in space, and play the game early for nothing. Fans can track the launch via GPS. Three US cities have already launched.
EA estimates the bundle of space bound goodies to be worth around $500. The launched copies of the game are for Xbox 360 or PS3 so PC gamers are left out - cheapskates!
Included in these ”one-of-a-kind” prize packages are a shirt, a hooded sweatshirt, a hat, an Art of the Mass Effect Universe book, a water bottle, and a messenger bag. San Francisco, Las Vegas and New York have already experienced their EA space programs
Now it’s London’s turn and launch time was 11.00am according to the official website. Berlin is the final stop on February 29th. Mass Effect 3 releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC March 6th in the US, 9th in Europe.
