The game will be preceding the second Star Trek film, Star Trek: Into Darkness, which enters theaters in the 17th May 2013.
The publishers also announced the preorder bonuses for the game. It will include special access to the “Elite Officer Pack,” which includes “exclusive items” and “unique uniforms” for Kirk and Spock ranging from a Starfleet Type IV Stealth Sniper Rifle to a Vulcan Science Academy costume for Spock.
