Players who purchased Ninja Gaiden 3 have found that the Online Pass code included with the game that allows them to engage in multiplayer online simply do not work. Furthermore, the Dead or Alive 5 demo code found in the Collector’s Edition wasn’t working either.
Fortunately, Team Ninja acknowledged the problems immediately, and on the official Facebook page the developer wrote: ”We are aware of the issue with the Online Pass for Ninja Gaiden 3 and are working to resolve the issue. For those of you with the PlayStation 3 version of the game, the online pass will be redeemable by 4pm Pacific time. For those of you with the Xbox 360 version, we are currently working with Microsoft to resolve the issue and we will keep you updated. Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this matter.”
”For those of you with the Xbox 360 version of Ninja Gaiden 3, please re-enter your code the online pass is now working.”
However, those with the Collector’s Edition that contains a demo for Dead or Alive 5 are still having issues. “We are working with Sony to resolve the demo code issue for the DOA 5 demo code included in the Ninja Gaiden 3 Collector’s Edition. We will keep you updated,” reported the developer.
This issue doesn’t help in light of the negative reviews the game has been getting in the past 24 hours. Strategy Informer will be posting its review soon - keep an eye out for it.
