According to the official Battlefield 3 Twitter feed, this weekend’s Double XP Weekend for the PC version of Battlefield 3 has been delayed two weeks to the weekend of the 26th May.
The BF3 tweet states, ”In order to give you a full weekend as planned, we will be rescheduling this for May 26-27 (PC).”
DICE cited technical issues for the delay, but one must wonder if Electronic Arts and DICE realized there were almost no official servers available thanks to tons of them being rented out?
