A job vacancy for a senior role at Microsoft suggests the next Xbox is to arrive before 2014.
The company is hunting a Central Marketing Group director, and says that
”over the next eighteen months Microsoft will release new versions of all of our most significant products including Windows (Client, Server, Phone and Azure), Office and Xbox, along with completely new offerings like Microsoft Surface”.
This indicates the next-gen console will be available towards the latter half of 2013.
Don’t expect any comment from Microsoft on this, as the firm continues to remain typically tight-lipped.
