Producer Mike Gamble ”can’t say anything” about specific plans that may or may not exist for Mass Effect, but it ”wouldn’t be a bad idea” to keep that data. The galaxy ‘our character’?
Mass Effect 3 is said to bring an end to the role of Commander Shephard, at least as the player character anyway. Future titles could visit anywhere and may be open to having past decisions carry consequences.
”It wouldn’t be a bad idea (to keep your ME3 saves),” associate producer Mike Gamble told GamerZine. ”Obviously I can’t say anything, but it wouldn’t be a bad idea…” One of the major selling point for the series was carrying over past decisions the player made into the next game to keep that feeling it was your epic sci-fi adventure.
Mass Effect 3 releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC March 6th in the US, 9th in Europe.
