They’ll continue their ”reform work” of the MMO which is essentially ”redoing the game,” and hope it will reflect the FFXIV that ”should have been released.”
”The Final Fantasy brand has been greatly damaged,” declared Yoichi Wada at a Tokyo press conference today, reports Sponichi. Ever since Final Fantasy XIV released Square Enix have been scrambling to fix glaring issues gamers have faced.
”We’ll continue with our reform work, which basically amounts to fully redoing the game, and hope to revive the FFXIV that should have been released.” The MMO is yet to release on PlayStation 3 and will likely be delayed much further until PC FFXIV is ‘redone’.
The CEO also touched on the Dragon Quest X, which is an online title. ”We’re not making them all online,” said Wada-san of future series instalments. ”We’ll continue with a variety of developments, online included.” Hopefully it won’t have its own FFXIV debacle.
