VGChartz is reporting that more than 3.4 million copies of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim were sold at retail in the first two days of the game’s release. The sales figures represent a massive 600% increase in sales compared to the previous game; The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion sold 490K units in the first two days.
The Xbox 360 accounted for 2M units sold, or 59% of the units sold in retail. The PlayStation 3 version sold 918K units (27%), while the PC version sold 476K (17%). Keep in mind, the PC sales do not include digital sales such as Steam.
