It’s made using CryEngine 3 and co-developed by Crytek Seoul. It’s a military shooter for PC only, with a ”constantly updated” PvE world, with co-op missions.
That’s not all because it also has class-based player vs. player battles alongside the more co-operative aspects. Warface is ”especially dedicated to the Korean and other Asian markets”, so don’t get too excited westerner.
”Our passion is to always deliver the best gaming experience possible. That’s why we opened our Crytek Korea office in 2008, which today enables us to offer a game that is tailored to suit its market,” said Crytek big boss Cevat Yerli.
”We’re excited to debut with Warface in South Korea and to deliver a compelling and truly unique experience soon.” It’s unclear right now if it will be limited to just Asian markets or if the US and Europe could see it too. PC is definitely ahead of the pack says Crytek.
