As you already know, Microsoft have are planning to launch a revamp of their Games for Windows LIVE Marketplace into a full blow digital distribution store.
This store will have 100 title at launch, but in a special interview with Strategy Informer, Group Product Manager Peter Orullian outlined some of the criteria in which those games are chosen.
”The approach we’re taking without portfolio is that we’re trying to get the best games,” he said.
The way they will do this is a combination of Metacritic score, gamer popularity, and the portfolio team’s own ”intuition”. New games will be added to the store each week after launch.
