”I think it would be nice if next year I can do not just editing, but introduce my own new game (game design, script and direction),” said Kojima-san. At the Metal Gear Cosplay Camp tournament he was asked by actress Yumi Kikuchi to ”say something shocking”.
The Kojima Productions boss jokingly shouted back: ”It’s 5! Shall we make 5! With this, I won’t have to quit Konami. I’ll be there for 3 more years.” Some were in fact expecting some news at TGS on the MGS5 front but nothing came, as only Rising showed.
