Here’s an interesting one for you guys:
South Korea is imposing a ‘game curfew’ that will block online gaming after midnight.
According to the Korea Herald, this move is designed to help combat games addiction in teenagers. During a six hour blackout period called ”nighttime shutdown”, players will forcibly be kicked from game sessions and/or have their internet connection speeds reduced.
The policy is currently being tested on 4 popular online games, but will expand to include 79 per cent of the domestic online game market.
