The multiplayer beta program for Brotherhood begins October 8th for any who’ve pre-ordered the PS3 copy. 9 characters across 2 maps.
Pre-ordering the standard, Auditore or Codex editions of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood will get you access to the PS3 exclusive multiplayer beta which begins October 8th. Rome and Castel Gandolfo are the two maps included.
8 players can simultaneously play a mode called Alliance which sees two teams work together to ”fulfil contracts and confuse enemies in tandem”, and then there’s Wanted. Of course this can’t overshadow the bitter news for PC fans.
Ubi is pushing the PC version way out of 2010 and into early next year. No reason has been given for the delay, which echoes the same treatment PC Assassin’s Creed II got. The Xbox 360 and PS3 copies will release as planned November 19th.
