Gears of War 3 details emerge?

If there’s one thing the internet does well, it’s blow the whistle. The game hasn’t even officially been announced yet, and already details for the highly anticipated third Gears of War game are emerging.

EDGE Online, citing a ”trusted publishing source”, has spilled the beans on what we can apparently expect from Gears of War 3.

An overhauled cover system, explosives that can reach enemies behind cover, and underwater levels are to name but some of the things revealed in this article. There’s even mechs, apparently (how very Lost Planet of them).

Caution, and an open-mind, should be automatic when dealing with ‘leaked’ information such as this, even if it is EDGE. Bleszinski is still set to reveal something come Monday, so the truth of the matter should become apparent then.
