True Crime: Hong Kong delays

Activision has announced the delay of open world action game True Crime: Hong Kong, as it now slips from a release this autumn into 2011.

It’s so the development team at United Front Games gets ”more time to deliver” the high quality product they want. More money poured into it.

The official line from Acti is it gets delayed ”in order to give the development team more time to deliver the high-quality entertainment experience they envision for the game”. Activision CFO Thomas Tippl says more investment has been put into the title.

True Crime: Hong Kong releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in 2011.
