In a press release issued not a moment ago, Paradox Interactive has confirmed that there has been unprecedented demand for their upcoming western shooter - Lead and Gold.
The pre-order sales at the moment are in the region of 2.4 billion for PC alone, which is about a third of the population of the entire world.
”There are so many inflated sales numbers in the gaming industry today that it feels especially good to present some actual numbers for once,” said Paradox CEO Fredrik Wester.
“This game is so incredibly awesome that the sales numbers don’t shock us at all. One beautiful thing about being a privately held company is that we really don’t need to provide proof, but everyone can just take our word for it.”
The game is also coming to the home console, with pre-order sales expected to triple. That’s right, 7.2 billion fanboys will be screaming down your head set when the game launches on April 8th.
The fact that there isn’t 7.2 billion people just shows how awesome the game is, as it can create a user base out of thin air.
