An evolution of the origional EyeToy technology, this controller offers 1:1 motion control, as well as near-3D mapping. By the looks of things, it will have similar capabilities as the Wii-mote with added Motion Plus.
Whilst it seems to offer far more precision then Microsoft’s Natal project, so far the demonstration hasn’t been as impressive - although this might be down to the demonstrators as opposed to the technology.
The release date for this new addition is set for Spring 2010.
